Steam Plant’s Food Truck
Blues & Brews Festival to Benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Inland
Washington (August 31, 2015) – Spokane’s historic Steam Plant’s north lot is
host to the inaugural Food Truck Blues & Brews Festival on Sunday, September
27, 2015 from noon – 7:00pm.
The event includes live music, food trucks, cider and microbreweries. One
ticket provides samples from each food truck and two samples of beer or cider.
Music is provided all day and features local bands Charlie Butts and the Filter
Tips and The Fat Tones who will perform high-energy R&B sounds.
A portion of the proceeds benefit Big Brothers
Big Sisters (BBBS) of the Inland Northwest. At dusk, there will be a lighting
ceremony as the iconic Steam Plant smokestacks are lit in color to celebrate
the 50th anniversary of BBBS.
